Dr. Gabbert receives Poster Award from Vasculata

July 2024: During Vasculata 2024 at Stanford University, Allison Gabbert's abstract was selected for an oral presentation and she received a poster award for her work on TMEM16 signaling in endothelial cells.

Schmaier Lab Receives BIDMC Spark Grant

May 2024: Alec Schmaier, along with co-investigators Nathan Shapiro, Ionita Ghiran, and Tamar Sofer received a Spark Grant from BIDMC for their project: Extracellular vesicles and extracellular RNA in the pathobiology of sepsis

Dr. Schmaier presented work during the Sol Sherry Lecture on Thrombosis at the 2022 American Heart Association Scientific Sessions, the International Vascular Biology Meeting, and the American Society of Hematology Scientific Sessions.
